My process
Typically, my concepts come from visions derived from interpretations of experiences I encounter in life. It can be anything from an interaction, a line in a book, a sound or musical piece, or an element of nature. I’m inspired by many things.
Once I have a fragment of the idea, I begin working. Sometimes the idea shifts as I begin to work, but this is very normal. Oftentimes, when creating, the piece takes on an entirely new meaning as I’m working on it. I believe the art has a mind of its own, in a sense; it has a story to tell.
I am just the vessel.
